Our family has been one of the leading suppliers of qualified and trained helpers to Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Serbia and Qatar for over 30 years.

 

As working parents ourselves, we understand the anxiety of leaving your home and loved ones in someone else’s hands. We know that having the right helper isn't a luxury; it is the foundation that allows you to focus on your career and family with true peace of mind. This personal understanding drives our mission: to help families in Singapore find capable, compassionate, and trustworthy care. 

 

We chose the name "Aroha" because it means "love". Inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." It serves to remind us that beside having faith and hope, we need to incorporate "love" in everything that we do, including in the way we run our business, how we treat our employees, how we serve our customers and how we train & assist our helpers. 

 

Aroha itself originates from the Maori language and was chosen because Aroha was born in the same year as Neve Te Aroha, the daughter of Jacinda Ardern, former New Zealand Prime Minister. Jacinda has been an inspiring role model as the world's youngest female head of government, having taken office at age 37. The fact that she gave birth to a daughter while managing her role as Prime Minister conveys a powerful message: that it is possible for a woman to maintain a work-life harmony, especially when you have a capable… helper! :)
